Data Back Up
The customers are supposed to have a backup of all the files, media files, audio files and any other important data prior to give it to Utech for repairs or any other service. Utech is not liable for any loss of data during the repair or post repair.
Accounts Info
We advise our customers to take a prior back up to their provided or cloud accounts like iCloud, FInd my iPhone, Samsung account or any other account. We advise our customers to Turn off the features of iCloud, Samsung account or any other accounts on the device prior to give it to Utech. We will not be responsible for loss or corruption of data.
Collection of the device
We provide our customers with a formal receipt for the device or devices submitted to Utech. Please note that the customer's are supposed to come by themselves to collect it. We cannot handover the device to anyone else. We undergo the Photo ID process for the verification. (Ex. Passport, Driving License, Visa card). Non Photo ID proofs will not be acceptable.
Lost or Stolen device
It is customer's responsibility off what kind of device they are handing us in. We do not take any responsibility for the devices that are reported stolen or blacklisted.
Collection responsibility
The customers are advised to go for a full round inspection before leaving the store at the day of collection. The device will be checked by us before the customer hands us in for any repair to understand the physical and internal damage on the device and the customer will be updated. The customers are supposed to let Utech know whether they need the repair or not. Customers are supposed to check the devices functioning before leaving the store. An additional warranty is provided on a receipt depending upon what device and what parts are fixed. There is no warranty provided on screen protectors or the top glass of the device. As the top glass is mainly damaged off the physical mishap.
